We have over 8,500 square feet of retail space. We have numerous customers who come from all
over to spend the day with us. Aldena's carries St. Johnsbury and Time and Again Candles: wallpaper and borders;
complete lines of Kitchen and Bath Accessories;custom handmade soaps and lotions which only use the best ingredients,
flags and mini flags; yard art; metal stars and so much more. Along with opening our new addition for the Christmas house in 2007, we
are now offering flavored Coffees and Teas for your enjoyment while shopping. Our newest venture Aldena's Table Talk Restaurant will be opening soon. We are in the process of adding a full service restaurant to our business. Once completed shoppers will be able enjoy breakfast on Fridays and Saturdays; Lunch and dinner, Monday thru Saturday. You will be able to Shop, and then enjoy a fine meal in our rustic dining room.We invite the public to come by to see the progress on our dining rooms (you will be astonished) and get sneak peak of our menu's excellent choices.
Ladies, with the vast amount of things to do in the area it is easy to have families make a weekend. Set up camp at Douthat State Park or Lake Moowmaw for example and while the family relaxes come visit our store. Why not gather a group and come visit us! We are definitely "Worth The Trip "! We are located only 21 miles from The Homestead Resort and only 40 miles from the four star Greenbrier Resort. Both resorts offer numerous amenities and several of the finest golf courses on the east coast. If you are a Train Buff then the area has several attractions for you. In Covington, just opened is the newly renovated C & O Train Depot. In Clifton Forge just 10 miles away is the Railroad Historical Society and we also have 2 Scenic Railroads close by. The Cass Scenic Railroad Cass Scenic Railroad in Cass West Virginia and the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad in Romney West Virginia. Aldena's is the only local merchant handling the Maggie B quilted purses and totes for today's woman. Numerous styles and patterns are available.The Maggie B Quilted purses and totes retire almost as fast as they are issued, so the stock on hand is limited and is quickly sold. Check with us often as new patterns are arriving regularly. Aldena's Christmas Open House will be held this year on November 6th and 7th.Our Christmas Open house is always an area favorite. Store Hours
Aldena's Home Accents and Gifts is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. November 6th and 7th we will be open 10 am till 9 pm for the Christmas open house
December 14 through December 23 we are open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. December 24 th (Christmas Eve) we will be open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. December 31st (New Years Eve) we will be open 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We will be closed the following Holidays:
